Co-curricular activities

During the Easter vacation, in collaboration with the Cross-boundary Learning Team, we organized a trip to Nagasaki, where the last atomic bomb was dropped on 9-8-1945. The city was also the first Japanese port open to the Westerners. We visited Deshima, where all Westerners resided. Students got to know how Westerners adapted to the way of living in Japan. Students also learned details of the end of the Pacific War when they visited the Museum of Atomic Bomb. Undoubtedly, they became more familiar with the modern history of Japan.
