Date : 2014-05-16 (Friday)
Activity Category : Biology
35 Form 4 students were selected to joined the Hoi Ha Wan Field Study Course organized by Hoi Ha Wan Marine Centre, WWF. Students had their first field experience learning the adaptation of the mangrove trees and living organisms found there. They were lucky that on those days there was red tide around Hoi Ha Wan so that they could have chance to see the Planktons that caused the red tide. This plankton species glows under current flow. They were all excited with this precious experience. Finally, they took a boat trip to observe the coral community in Hoi Ha Wan. This was the first time they observe coral in the natural habitat. All students had a great memorable trip.
